The Morality Act of 1997 was one of the first acts passed by the new Smith administration. It was a rigid set of moral standards. Cursing and sex was banned on all media outlets. Tattooing was illegal, wearing a skirt or shorts above the kneecap was banned, girls could not wear makeup until 7th grade. Women could only have one piercing per ear. Sunday’s where formal days when all men had to wear suits. By 2001 some of these laws where seen as ridiculous.

The Morality Act of 1997 is still on the books though greatly reduced. The Current Morality Act reads this.

1) No media outlet is to use and curse word higher then “crap”, no sexual innuendo or sex is to be produced.

2) Tattoos are illegal

3) Women/Men may not have any more then two piercing per ear.

4) Men and Women are to dress formally on Sundays

5) There is to be no piercing of the body besides the ear in any form what so ever.
